Horrid customer service. I called to ask about insurance question and was pressured to rent my unit over the phone instead of online (assuming commission). Well even after I told the woman the phone number she put down was not correct she didn’t change it. I was told I would receive a contract to sign in a few minutes to few hours. Next day no contract but an email saying they tried to call me to call them back. I did, the woman on the phone was nice and understanding I was told the az city office is remote and all calls to it are routed to a call center that is why my number is showing up different. She stated she corrected my number on the account and I should receive a call that day. Next day no call another email like the day before. Called office again was told my number was corrected, told I would get a call that day again. Next day called back again was told they can’t fix my number but made a note in bold letters to the office about calling my correct number and that is needs to be changed. Was suggested to try and log in online and correct it. I did. One week later no contact and no contract. I call back and the woman was nice UNTIL I asked for a refunded. She got snippy saying we aren’t purposely trying to not contact you and it is not our fault the third party set up your account with the wrong number, then suggested she correct my number again. When I told her that is no excuse as my number has been corrected 3x and by me online that I am not comfortable renting from a company that can’t provide me a contract or get my number right I want a refund. She grew more agitated trying to cut me off speaking multiple times, very quickly said I will process your refund. Before I could even ask for email confirmation about the refund I was HUNG UP ON! HOW RUDE! I called back and the called was immediately HUNG UP ON 2X MORE! 3rd try she answered irritated. I stated I was calling because I would like a refund confirmation email but before I could request one I was hung up on. She rudely interrupted me again stating that is our standard procedure I am doing it right. I tried to say thank you but how do I know that if… interrupted again… I said I would appreciate not being interrupted when I am speaking… HUNG UP ON AGAIN! I never went down to the unit as I never received my contract so I can’t say anything about the actually unit. But apparently when an issue arises the people that work here get exceptionally rude.

I contacted the customer service number and was told that access to the site was by either a downloadable app, or by an onsite keypad. When I got the details in an email it was clear that access is only through an app. Since I wanted multiple family members to be able to access the site, this did not work for me. This policy should be told to people when they ask about access.

After I was sent confirmation of paying for the unit, I hit get directions directly from the link which took me to the wrong location (also an anytime storage location). I was unaware it was the wrong location as I had mentioned to the person taking my rental order that it is my first time ever doing this and that I was not familiar with the area. A week later they called saying that I had put my things in the wrong unit even though they had to confirm which unit I was at when they gave me the unlock code to the padlock on the unit originally. They put my stuff in the office and I had to make time to go get my things and move them again. Once I got to the new location I called for 10 minutes before anyone answered the phone to give me the new unlock code. Unfortunately the code they gave me is not unlocking the unit and I now have to wait for someone to come help. This is a very frustrating experience. Apparently, according to the employees husband, someone had changed the code on the lock previously and they were aware that the lock had troubles. We did finally get in but it was not the quick and easy experience that we expected or paid for. This facility is also NOT 24hr accessible as the name “Anytime storage” indicates.

Manager Judy is rude, lacks customer service skills, condescending and very unhelpful. The company works through a third party vendor and does not take responsibility for their employees. Best advice find a different facility. If I could give less than one star I would give a negative 50!
