The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, is a veritable gold mine of aviation history. Entering the Museum
Visitors eighteen years and older must show a government-issued identity document, such as a passport or driver's license. From nine in the morning to three in the afternoon, the West Gate on Blue Angel Parkway provides public access to NAS Pensacola.
Visitors wishing to observe Blue Angels practice sessions can reach the flight line behind the museum buildings. The Blue Angels take to the skies at 10:30 a.m. after gates for these sessions open at 9:30 a.m. Please check the museum's website for precise practice dates; admission to the museum and the practice sessions are free.
Highways and Parking
While regular taxi services can enter the base through the West Gate as long as the driver has a valid base pass, ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber are not permitted on NAS Pensacola. The museum offers free parking spaces for buses, motorhomes, and handicapped vehicles. For safety, buses must load and unload passengers from sidewalk areas.

Policy on Bags
The museum does not allow backpacks or big bags. Small diaper bags, handbags, camera bags, fanny packs, and medication bags are exceptions and are all susceptible to search.
